The shipping dates vary on products. Where possible, the estimated ship date may be stated on the order page.
Manufactured, assembled and cut material typically have longer preparation times than stock items. Manufactured, assembled screens and custom sized products currently may require up to 7-10 business days to prepare to ship at this time. Stock items such as full rolls of material and parts normally ship within 1-5 business days from order depending on current order volume. Occasionally Products may be on back order. As a result shipments may be delayed.
All shipments are F.O.B. point of origin and all shipping charges shall be paid by purchaser in addition to the price of the products. The shipping charge will be stated on your invoice at check out.
Products are shipped insured against damage. In the event you receive your order with visible shipping damage, notify us immediately and read our Return Policy Below.
Many of our orders are delivered by FedEx or UPS Ground. We reserve the right to change shipping carriers from customer selection based on pricing, geographical constraints and other economic or logistic issues that arise from normal business operations.
We do not require a signature on typical ground delivery shipments, but in some cases FedEx or UPS may require a signature. If it is a high value shipment, the shipper may require a signature. The driver also has the authority to decide if leaving the package outside might not be a good idea in certain areas.
Truck Freight may be required on larger items. Truck Freight Lines requires that someone be there to accept and sign for the shipment as well as help unload. Most trucks do not have lift gates.
A note about high shipping estimates on Custom Screens- The shippers charge by package size rather than weight on custom made screens. The online shipping calculator tries to figure out the package size and typically gets it right. If your screen sizes are unusual, (for example very narrow and tall or very wide and short), the online shipping calculator may estimate too high. If you think that this is your case, please contact us and we will manually check the shipping rate before you order.
In some cases on very large assembled screens, the online shipping estimator may not be able to accurately calculate our freight costs. Should our actual freight cost exceed the online estimator, we may not be able to accept the order. You will be notified by email of the actual shipping cost and offered options to either cancel the order or pay the additional freight charges.
Customer Delivery Instructions
There is a very limited amount of space on a shipping label for delivery instructions. We can get 3-4 words in that space. Instructions like "Leave the package around back by the storage shed as the gate is unlocked and the dogs don't bite." just don't fit the space available. We try to have the customer's comments on the shipping label when possible, but, we cannot guarantee that the delivery driver will read or follow the instructions. If you put a company name, and it is shipping to a residence, we do not have room to put the instructions on the label.
Return Policy
If you wish to return any Products, you must notify us by e-mail. We will issue an RMA# and instructions on how to return your product. We will only accept the return of Product and process a refund if the Product is in new condition and in its original packaging. Products that arrive to us without an RMA#, or do not meet the conditions detailed in our policy will be refused or returned and will not be issued a credit or refund.
Return shipping cost is the responsibility of the purchaser. Returned products must be sent freight prepaid. Returns (except warranty returns) may be subject to a 15% restocking charge.
Custom Made window screens and solar screens are guaranteed accurate to within 1/16 inch of order and to include hardware as indicated on the original online order or our system invoice. In case of your order arriving manufactured or assembled with inaccurate specifications as indicated on your online order confirmation or your invoice, please contact us by email within 3 days. You will be issued an RMA# and instructions on how to return the product. Quality Screen Co. reserves the right to replace the products or refund the purchase price at its option.
All claims of shipping damage must be reported within 3 days of receipt of purchase. We will file a claim with the shipper and ship a replacement order. Please keep the original package and contents until you receive your replacements as the shippers may reserve the right to inspect the damaged goods.
Quality Screen Co. will not issue refunds, credits or replacements on any order that required custom cuts or custom sizing except under warranty or result of our error. This includes assembled window screens, assembled solar screens, sliding screen doors, retractable window screens and doors, cut to length screen material less than full rolls or aluminum frame.
Quality Screen Co. cannot issue refunds or credits on any order over 30 days from original purchase date.
