Custom Textilene® 90% Solar Screens

This is my 3rd order of 90% Textilene solar screens over the last 10 years. All 3 orders were built as specified. They fit perfect and arrived in perfect condition. If I move again I will purchase again from Quality Window Screen.

Advantages: Great fit and seems that the air conditioner is not running as often and appears to keep the house cooler.

Disadvantages: NONE

My house was uncomfortably warm during summer. I've installed and instantly noticed a difference in temp the first day. Measure twice order once. Would definitely recommend.

Disadvantages: None

Excellent product. It does reduce 90+% of sunlight. Dropped temperature 15 degrees.

Advantages: Fit was exact, the packaging in a wooden frame prevented any potential damage by FedX.
Highly recommend quality windows.

The screens that we had made seem to be doing just what the screens are designed and made to do. Will have a better idea once full on summer has arrived here in north Texas. The build quality of the screens is quite high and I would most certainly recommend Quality Screen Company for any screens one might need to have made.

Advantages: Keeps the room the screens were placed to protect about 10 degrees cooler than with out the screens as well keeps most of the east sun at daybreak out of the room which are the primary reasons the screens were purchased.

Disadvantages: None really, however I will say that I am very glad I could pick the screens up locally as the shipping cost would have prevented me from buying them. The screens were a bit pricey to start with but worth he investment in my mind. Unfortunately as high a quality as the screens are, Quality Screen Company has no say in the cost of shipping the screens. We most definitely recommend Quality Screen Company.

Love these screens. Fit is perfect. We can now open our windows and maintain privacy in our home. Screens were packed professionally and install of five screens took about ten minutes total time in a very casual fashion. I wish all home DIY projects were this simple.

My custom sized screens arrived in a protective crate and were in perfect condition. The screens were inserted perfectly (no wrinkles and the frames were not stretched or distorted). I will order more in the future from these guys.

We ordered screens to cut western sun exposure. They fit perfectly and heat is not coming through the window and we can still see outside. A real energy saver.

Great product at a reasonable price. Slowly adding these to all my windows in my home. Makes a huge difference in the amount of sunlight into your home. Also helps keep rooms much cooler than those without!

Advantages: I also added these to my Kitchen windows that would let light shine in, creating glare on my living room TV. That is no longer an issue!

If you only need a few solar screens it is best to do it yourself. This company provides videos on their site to help. Plus if you have a problem you can talk by phone or email to solve a problem. It is truly easy to do.

Advantages: The best advantage, no matter how many screens you need, is that yo will save a lot of money. I picked mine up but shipping is still a savings from hiring outside help.

Disadvantages: The only disadvantage is if you do it wrong which means you have to start over. So it is imperative you check and double check your figures. Again there is help only a phone call away. I was helped several times and was very pleased wth their customer service.

Ordered 20 screens that included 5 different sizes. Great quality material delivered in safe packaging to Rhode Island! They do the trick in our converted church house's large windows. Immediately feel the heat of the day diffused and can't wait to see that reflected in utility charges.

Website videos helped out tremendously. Quality of my 5 solar screens seem to be great. Prepare yourself for a long wait time for shipment. White Casement Clips and White Screws are of great quality, I would suggest this procedure for securing screens.

Advantages: Seems to be controlling the severity of heat from the westward sun as it sets.

Disadvantages: Shipping takes way too long! Definitely does when the company loses your order and doesn't even call you so you're expecting delivery to find out they haven't even made them because they lost your order. Again shipping needs to get their act together its really hurting the company in the end. I will say Customer Service helped when they discovered the order was lost but still took over 3 week for shipment to arrive.

Excellent product & delivery - website was very user friendly.

At my last house, I hired a contractor to supply and install. Of course it was expensive but it worked well. This time I went with Quality Screen and saved lots of money. They are exactly the same but at a fraction of the price. I quickly installed them and immediately noticed a difference! The packing was in a damage proof wooden crate! Wow did not expect that!

We are very happy with the screens and have purchased them on two occasions from Quality Screen.

Advantages: The screens help keep our pictures from fading. They also keep the hot summer sun from heating up the rooms.

Disadvantages: None at all.
