Screen Frame 1/4"x3/4" (.019 ga.) - Cut Sizes

Perfect size and color for my old Rusco window frames. Well protected during shipping with board and plastic wrap.

Advantages: Easy to cut with miter box and hacksaw.

Disadvantages: You are required to buy 8 pieces, even if you only need 1 or 4.

If I hadn't found this company I'd have had to buy a full box(10) of 12 foot long 1/4" frame stock. I only needed to make two screens for my 1922 Craftsman bungalow house. Besides the great savings in getting only what I needed in that frame size, the shipping was fast and the 3 foot frame sections were securely packed. I got the aluminum frame corners as well. I already had the screening and spline material or I'd have ordered that as well. Cutting the frame stock was easy after I built a simple mitre box. Now my antique house is complete , all the original two channel storm windows are rebuilt and work like new.

I ordered the 1/4 inch screen frames and they arrived on time as ordered. The company sales staff was very helpful and professional. I would definitely use this company again.

Advantages: The 1/4 inch frames are difficult to find but QS had them, very easy to order them. The staff was very helpful and nice.

Disadvantages: 1st) I wish you made a compatible leaf spring that fits the 1/4 inch frames. I had to get leaf springs for the standard 5/8 inch frames and file them down to fit.
2nd) I wish you made a 3-way plastic T-connector similar to the plastic corners. When making a longer screen the tension of the stretched screening causes the frames to bow inward. Plastic T-connectors would allow me to insert a cross beam mid-way in the screen frame to prevent this bowing.

This material worked perfectly to build screens for my greenhouse doors. The square cut corners made for quick cutting. I highly recommend.

I needed the smaller frames for an older manufactured home and they weren't available at my local hardware store. These were perfect!

I could not find 1/4" screen frame at the glass shops locally, they only had 5/16" and above. These cut pieces from your company are exactly what I needed.

Advantages: kit came with enough frame pieces to do 2 screens,easy job, if you take time ,and check your measurements( you need,purchase 4 addl plastic corners for each screen)
