Heavy duty but we had a terrible time with the screws and the tabs were too long for the 48 Inch screen so we had to make new holes in order for the screen to close properly

Superior quality. Arrived very quickly and in perfect condition due to great packaging.

We were happy with the speed in which we received the screen protector. It has been exactly what we needed on strength and yet the design removes any bulky look.

Advantages: Prevents overexcited puppies from ruining the large screen cloth behind this screen saber. Still let’s plenty of light through.

Disadvantages: The wider mesh pattern can allow small paws through. Fortunately, our puppy has big paws.

Works like a charm. Dogs stopped clawing at it after one try!

After waiting all summer for a similar door guard to ship from Amazon, I cancelled and ordered here. Shipped quickly. It was perfect...easy to install and stops my 40 lb. dogs from ripping the screen or running through it! The bronze color is beautiful and looks great with the beige patio door. Be careful to set your drill on low torque when installing, or pre-drill and screw in by hand. Also, as it's steel, if you have to cut the tabs to fit your door, make sure you re-paint them to prevent rusting.

Advantages: Looks great, fast shipping, perfect size, and easy installation. They provided plenty of screws to mount it with.

This thing is so heavy,once attached the screen door is frozen in place. Can't be moved! It is now in the garage,not knowing how to dispose of it. waste of time & $$

Great service. Product arrived sooner than expected and was packaged very securely. Installation was easy and it looks good on my sliding screen door. I bought this to keep the cats from damaging the screen when they scratch to tell me they want in the house. Now they don't scratch the metal screen guard which is saving my screen.

Advantages: Easy to install using the four screws that are included. Lightweight so it does not add more drag to the sliding screen door.

We recently purchased a sliding screen door guard (48" wide). It fit perfectly and was easy to install. I was skeptical about purchasing this product on-line as I am old school and prefer to see what I am purchasing. I took the risk and am very pleased with the product I received. I was also worried that the door guard would not look good. I was important to me that the sliding door look good to blend in with the decor in my home. Also, since the sliding door leads to the patio where I do quite a bit of entertaining, looks were very important. The product passed the test. It is good quality, the paint appears to be good quality and it looks good. I highly recommend the sliding screen door guard.

package arrived as promised - well padded with no damage. Installation is easy with a power drill/screwdriver.

Advantages: Keeps dog off screen so I don't have to keep getting it re-stretched

Disadvantages: 48" is required for door - but this width is flexible in middle so screen still gets hit when dog jumps but the impact is spread and the screen does not come loose.

It's is working well. My husband had to cut off a bit of the connecting arms to get it to fit but no problem. We would prefer it was in plastic as we live at the beach and are concerned about rust, but so far so good. Couldn't find one in plastic to fit larger slider.

Advantages: Will keep dogs and kids from running thru screen.

Disadvantages: Could possibly rust over time.

My Customer is Extremely Happy with this 48" Screen Guard. Her 10 week old Mastif Pup has not torn apart her new Pet Screen. First Rescreen to last more than 2 weeks.

Great addition to our door. Saving our screen from a hyperactive dog.

Advantages: We have a dog with sharp claws who has torn through the screen trying to get to the squirrels on our balcony. This guard is perfect. She can still see outdoors and we can still get air, but she can't tear it up!!

Disadvantages: My son-in-law has not screwed in on yet, so I don't know if the screen door will slide open once it's on. Right now, we have to pop it off to open the screen door. No big deal.

Good value. I would suggest using some clear silicone on the exposed metal of holes and the bottom row to prevent water from pooling and prevent rusting
