I have a cat (Katie) who LOVES to jump on the screen when she see a lizard. This is the first screen I have used that could withstand repeated abuse from her. An unexpected side benefit was how much sun it blocked out without hurting my view of the pond and conservation behind my home. Highly Recommended! NOTE!: THIS SCREEN IS THICKER then usual screen and I recommend using a spline that is .1" THINNER than your old spline.

After seeing this product used on HGTV to reduce the heat and glare from the sun where there are lots of windows, we hesitantly ordered the Suntex 80 Solar Screen Fabric. My husband replaced the screen in 16 windows across the back of our home in one day. It was that easy and the difference it makes is amazing!! We still have our beautiful view of the pool and flower gardens but the glare from the pool and the heat from the afternoon sun are gone. With the solar screen, the rooms are much cooler and appear larger and more calming. We highly recommend the Suntex 80 Solar Screen.

I couldn't be happier with the screens. They've succeeded in maintaining a beautiful view. My husband was quite skeptical about that aspect and I had to convince him to give them a try. However, now, he cannot identify which of the windows have the screens! Keeping even the smallest of pesty insects outside instead of "bugging" us inside has provided us the delight of having windows open day or night. Received the 10 screens I ordered on Tuesday, not only did they look great they fit perfectly. An amazing fact given that 3 of them were of half circle design. While the 7 standard screens slipped right into place the 3 half circle screens installed in 15 minutes with minimal tools. The back of our house faces due west and with today being the first day since installation with a clear bright afternoon sky, I can say they are doing the job promised, the interior of the house is at least 5 - 10 degrees cooler and the walls in front of the large windows now protected by solar screens is cool to the touch, whereas they were quite warm before.

Your product fixed our problem! Our office building has huge plate glass windows--it once was a women's clothing store. A 15x15 corner office (the
bosses!) has corner glass, measuring 6' tall by 12' wide each way. It faces south and west. Before the solar screens went up, hot, sunny days would register 80 degrees on the thermostat in the hallway just outside the office, 85-plus inside. After the screens went up on these and other windows, our air conditioning can now hold the set temperature of 72-degrees.

A HVAC engineer told us it would take 3 tons of air conditioning to cool just the one office, with an initial outlay of $6K to $8K, counting a new AC unit and new electrical wiring. It would probably take another $200 per month in utility costs to run it. Even then, he said, it probably wouldn't work since the air exchange would be very difficult to achieve for so much cooling in so little space. Shading the windows, he told us, was our best option.

I wanted to add a colonnaded porch, but our architect suggested using solar screens. When I couldn't get a local glass company to get going on the project, I found you guys on the internet and installed them myself. I believe we spent about $1500 in screens, a 75% savings from a new air conditioner, and we get to keep the $200 a month in utility expenses during cooling-required months, which is most of the year.

The even better part about it is that the screens are the "stucco" color, which matches our building color perfectly. The screens cover the milled-aluminum plate glass window frames, further enhancing our building's look.

Needless to say, we are VERY SATISFIED with your product and our purchases!

I ordered the materials on Wednesday and received the order on Saturday in
