1. What type of 'assembled' window screens to you offer online? We offer online ordering of Replacement Window Screens like the ones found on many modern homes.  These are factory made replacement type screens made with aluminum frame, either fiberglass or aluminum screen material, plastic corners and lift tabs. These screens typically cover only the portion of the window that opens. The screens include a variety of hardware options at no additional charge. 2. What kind of fiberglass material is used? We use fiberglass material manufactured by Phifer or New York Wire, the industry leaders  in screening material.  The weave is 18/16 manufactured for use on windows and doors. 3. What is best, Fiberglass or Aluminum? Fiberglass window screen material is very durable and typically lasts for about 15 years under normal use. It is most common these days. Aluminum window screen may be stronger than fiberglass but unforgiving if 'dented' as the dent will remain visible unlike fiberglass that will spring back into shape.  You will need to make your decision depending on your expected environment. 4. Why are online screen orders  sizes limited? We limit the online ordering due to the high cost of shipping large packages. 5. I need screens larger than allowed online? If you need assembled screens a little larger and are willing to pay the freight, you are welcome to contact us.  We will be glad to work up a custom quote. 6. Do you offer on-site local service? In a very limited area. If you are located in the Dallas Fort Worth area please give us a call to arrange an on-site visit with one of our personnel that can install your screens for you. 7. How are your products shipped? We normally use FedEx Ground Home Delivery and UPS Ground. 8. Shipping seems a little high for such lightweight items? Although assembled window screens are relative light, shipping companies charge additional for an 'over-sized' surcharge based on the large box sizes. 9. Is my credit card and personal information secure? We carefully selected Authorize. net as our credit card processing company as they have been a leader in secure transactions since 1996.  At no time during the process is any data on an unencrypted transmission or un-secure server. 10. When is my credit card charged? Your credit card is not charged until near the time your window screens are complete.   During the order process, the credit card is simply 'authorized' but not charged.
